Dmg Starting At Higher Level
So if you're starting a Paragon campaign at level 11, pool together the parcels for levels 1 through 10. In this example, you'd hand out 40,795g to the whole party (versus 25,000 for a party of 5) and you'd hand out items of the following levels. I used the Burning Blade of Abezeth (+30% to all dmg) and level 90 Spiral Carve enhancements to maximize the damage for fun. I know I know ChronoCommander is out of order in the list.

Benefits
You’ll get random rewards like Monster chests, Hero Chests, shields, gems, speed ups, RSS and more. At the same time, you can level up your heroes, and gain player EXP.
You’ll also contribute gifts to your guildmates and make everyone happy.
Requirements
Any player, even at the starting level, can participate.
But before everything else, you must join a guild to start hunting.
If you are new to the game, you also need to start the respective research in the Academy. The higher the research, the higher your chances of defeating the monster rapidly.
Monster Levels
There are five levels of monsters to hunt. A level 5 beast will always be found at the Kingdom’s base while levels 1-4 can be found scattered anywhere in the kingdom.
Hero Combination
Use five heroes to hit and kill those ugly monsters. Make sure you have enough energy. Keep in mind that you can only send out one group to monster hunt at any given time.
A good combination of five heroes will determine the effect or DMG (damage) of your attack. You use the wrong combination and you’ll only deal very little damage plus a wasted energy.
At lower castle (Castle 1-16) levels you may need up to 10 hits to kill one level 1 monster. Higher-level castles (Castle 17-25), you may need 2 – 3 hits to eliminate a level one monster.
Let’s start.

I'm actually skimming over OotA. My actual group is playing in a Waterdeep campaign, but have to leave Waterdeep for an adventure. At the moment they are at the beginning of Level 4.
Now I like the Idea of getting captured by drow and having to escape the Underdark.
I wondered If you could start with a Drow ambush and getting the party (5 Level 4 PCs) captured. Then you would not have to play everything from the first chapters, just the interesting stuff and the PCs will return to the surface at level 7.
Do you think this could work? Would you do this? Do you have further ideas?
One additional thing that bothers me: 9 NPCs which are also captures. I was thinking about letting some of them die early on, or that there are random encounters where the PCs must chose which one to save. So that the PCs will only have do deal with 2-3 NPCs. Maybe just starting with only 6 and then letting a few die?
I really do not like the idea of having too many NPCs. Maybe just saying 'there are 9 additional prisonrs, a drow, a gnome, ..' and then letting the story chose which are important and which not? Maybe the Drow catch on to the PCs and a few of the prisoners do not manage to escape?
Are the NPCs important for the further adventure?
So. Maybe you could help me with your ideas
best regards
