Build physical Ember when it's clear that your team has enough Magic dmg and lacks Physical DPS (ONLY IF they can hold the early - early mid game). Here's the real problem that IceFrog (or whoever's running this shitshow these days) needs to address: Ember Spirit is a LEVEL -DEPENDENT hero. Twitter - the magic dmg build ember BUT with a dagon! O yes you never see the full magic dmg dagon but it exists. Anyway didnt e. Mindless following of the builds of pros never works out in pubs. There was great video made by some guy on ember lately, in which he explained how ridiculously versatile ember is as a hero. You can build any item on this hero and make it work and many times you just have to change your usual build if u want to win. Dec 06, 2011  This was discussed many times before. In Dota 1 casting order doesn't matter avatoss deals 900 dmg and tossava deals 900 dmg too if you cast it fast enough. In dota 2 only avatoss combo works for 900 dmg. Anyway tiny in Dota 2 is just bad. In Dota 1 he was relying on his combos and now, thanks to new engine he utterly sucks.

You start with E, its basically a radiance/scorch earth. While you are in slight, E is still doing dmg. You can slight then hit ur Q immediately, whoever you latch onto, you should be able to just right click down. Alternatively you can spam R into the target and jump to it, the AOE dmg can help the kill. You then Q and slight.

I mean I remember beating quite a few embers as ta mid, but recently i've been getting dumpstered by ember or am i missing something

ta wants to rice mid and ember has high kill potential at 6 or something

he has terrible damage and armor though, and you shouldnt be getting solo killed pre6 because yo ucan tp to ur shrine after chains if ur gonna die

i believe ta > ember in pure 1v1, i've been trying this with allison few days ago and if you play aggressively as TA from level 1 and try to hit psi blades as much as possible you can almost send him to base on lvl 1 if he's bad enough (check my last ember game where i got absolutely dumpstered if you want to see some really humiliating example), and if that doesnt cut it then just put like two points to meld and run at him

good creep block on first wave is really important though i think.

ember shoudnt be able to lane ta ever, unless ta doesnt know how to play his hero, then its a different story

ta vs ember matchup is fun because neither hero can depend on some defensive mechanisms - flameguard doesn't do anything against ta's high physical damage, but likewise refraction doesn't do anything against ember since he can melt it easily

in a 1v1 where both players are equally skilled, TA doesn't exactly have much outplay potential, while ember does

I keep dying as ta this patch, earlier i used to have like a max of 4 deaths now i just die in mid by rotations or get caught out of position in a taemfight.

Just get a PMS the laning stage shouldn't be tough

I would give the ember a slight edge here because he out lanes ta pretty bad due to 3rd skill. On the other side, you can dodge searing chains with meld pretty easily and turns around killing ember. Both of these hero means if 1 support rotates the enemy mid hero will die. Its a game of burst damage and ember will still win in this situation

The only way to win as ta vs good ember is building quick stats and following 2 strategies.

1. Going refraction and using it to push the wave off you so that do not get chained.

2. Going meld and using it dodge chains and then hit with meld to kill him. If you dodge chains and hit him with a lvl 3 meld you can kill him.

The better stratedgy is to constantly push the wave off you and cs jungle camps between waves to get an early deso. You will make more game inpact this way rather than just killing ember 1 time.

Tho against an ember mid you should be going something that beats him more heavily mid like sf or mk

1 sup mis = ta cant farm if creeps not on her hill

Doesn't matter if ember can't farm he just builds veil and bursts your highest lvl hero and gets comeback gold, really dumb hero Lul

Empresa dmg sa. ta wins the 1v1 if the players competent but its never a 1v1 and runes and stuff can change the matchup entirely.

Good ember player will kill ta once he got lv 6. Bait reflection to flame guard then chain if dodge just use 3 remnants to kill ta. Problem is this thing use up too much mana

ember beats ta until ta gets 5 (laning stage) u cant man up against level 3 refract.

a competent TA won't be baited to waste shield by ember.

So seems like most blue stars think ember beats Ta. Except cookie

A good Ember should beat an equally skilled TA I think. But a godly TA player can beat almost any hero, except Razor I guess.

Both heroes have solid kill potential on each other. One tiny mistake by one side can make the lane entirely one sided.

Lol. I dont see a case where same skill opponents going mid and TA wins Ember. Only with support rotations YES. Any kind of skill build on ta will be a failure vs ember. Download nodejs 8 mac. Ember just kills her lvl 3-4 that's all. [SAME SKILL MID PLAYER]

ta wins this matchup in a vaccuum by a fair bit from what ive seen, talked to good ta's bout it and it makes sense
